I am dedicating this essay to a very brave four-year old named Grace, who has been living with diabetes for the past two years. She is truly an inspiration to me and everyone she meets.
She is part of my motivation for finding and purchasing Clemmy’s Ice Cream. I became a believer when I tasted my first spoonful! My whole family is ice cream lovers and we hope to live long lives by introducing a sugar-free diet.
The impact of your product is so important to everyone, especially the young and the old who have been diagnosed with diabetes. I only wish that Clemmy’s would have been available when my diabetic mother-in-law was still alive so we could have shared a “Clemmy’s Moment” together. In tribute to this wonderful product, I have composed the following poem of my first Clemmy’s shopping trip, so I hope you enjoy…
I drove to the store
With a guilty look.
A craving for “Ice Cream”
Was all that it took.
My body was willing,
But my conscience was weak
Thinking of all the calories
I would seek.
I hurried down the aisles
Toward the frozen food,
Knowing that the ice cream I sought
Would be good!
And there it lay sparkling
Like a star in the night,
My eyes have never
Seen such a sight!
I reached into the cooler
And grabbed me a jewel
My hands found the “Clemmy’s”
And my mouth started to drool.
My eyes read the ingredients
“All natural & sugar-free”
The calories were low,
So I thought, “This is for me!”
I felt so happy
To have found such a delight.
As I checked out my “treasure”
Because the price was “just right.”
As I drove my dessert home,
I knew I’d picked the best
Of all the ice creams
I have put to the test!
