What started in a kitchen in Rancho Mirage is growing into a national name in ice-cream. But not just any ice-cream, the world's only all natural, sugar-free ice-cream. And it appears to be a sweet success at the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Golf Championship.

The creator of "Clemmy's Ice Cream" Jon Gordon said, "I love ice-cream; I've been eating a pint a day since I was a kid." But a few years ago, Gordon found out he was pre-diabetic. That's when he started experimenting and created an ice-cream that's lactose free and sugar free. It took around six months to perfect the recipe.
Gordon said, "I did it not only for myself, but there are almost 100 million people in the U.S. who are diabetic, pre-diabetic or lactose intolerant." Clemmy's Ice Cream named after Gordon's cat, hit stores almost a year ago. Gordon says it's selling strong across the country, in 12 states.
This week, Clemmy's is the official Ice Cream sponsor of the Kraft Nabisco, where it's been a hit with the players and the fans. Gordon says he's averaging over 200 shakes a day, made with his lower calorie soft serve.
One serving of the Ice Cream has 200 calories and 15 grams of fat, and 4 grams of fiber. Clemmy's is available at stores including Albertsons, Bristol Farms, Costco, Jensens, and Stater Bros.
